Veronika Gagovic, MD is a board-certified gastroenterologist dedicated to advancing colon cancer prevention, elevating community health education, and empowering patients to take charge of their digestive wellness. She practices at GI Associates in Wausau, Wisconsin, where she leads with a compassionate, evidence-based approach focused on prevention, early detection, lifestyle medicine, and patient empowerment.

As the founder of the Colon Health Project, Dr. Gagovic created a long-term, physician-led public health initiative designed to increase screening awareness, demystify gut health, and make preventative GI education accessible to all. Her clinical interests include microbiome science, IBS, IBD, colon cancer prevention, nutrition, and integrative GI care.
